My current quest is to take more professional photos of my garden, and in that effort, I have found that it necessary for me to dust off my old Nion D5100 and to re-learn how to use it for photographing my flowers. I’ll be the first to say that I LOVE the ease with which anyone can get decent photos with their iPhones, but I have decided that decent isn’t good enough for my blogging purposes. So, off we go:

Each day, I hope to go outside and to photograph a network of things in my garden, and for each photograph, I’ll experiment with a variety of settings. I’ll be sharing those camera settings on this blog. Because camera settings are relative to the time of day and the lighting conditions present, I’ll share those things, too.
